How-to demos, cocktails, and antiques a-plenty at launch parties for
The Parisian Cowboy’s Guide to The Round Top Experience
WHAT: More than a twice-yearly mecca for art collectors, designers and antiques enthusiasts, Round Top, Texas (population 77), is a burgeoning off-the-beaten-path haven for year-round arts, culture, and music – not to mention Southern hospitality, served with a slice of pie.
Round Top Antiques Show faithfuls Gretchen von Rochow and Kerry Rupp (of Austin) are the co-authors of The Parisian Cowboy’s Guide to The Round Top Experience (March 2010), a photo guidebook covering the famous Antiques Show and year-round charm of the arts-filled travel destination. The book points readers to Round Top’s must-see antiques, craft, and art show venues and vendors, as well as local dining, lodging, shopping, art and entertainment establishments.
For one week each spring and fall, visitors from near and far descend on Round Top for antique finds such as vintage sterling, fine furniture, books, unusual folk art, and more. Now, armed with this in-the-know guide, readers can plan out their Round Top treasure hunt.
